  6. ftype [ ascii | binary ]                           Default: ascii

  8. Display or set the mode for FTP file transfer.  See the FTP
  9. 'type' sub-command.

  11. If the architecture of the local and remote hosts is the same, it
  12. is preferable to set 'ftype' to binary, even for ASCII file
  13. transfers, as binary transfer is much quicker.
